They work on principle of using charged polystyrene resin beads that exchange calcium & magnesium ions for sodium. These ion exchange resins are negatively charged that attract positively charged Mg++ & Ca++ ions. This category offered by us includes Softener and DM Plants. These plants also work in two different stages where feed water is passed through bead filled beds where cations are replaced with hydrogen ions during first stage and anions with hydroxyl at second. This activity results in providing de-ionized water which is required for various chemical processes.
